This Privacy Policy explains how myArthik ("we", "our", "us") handles your information when you use the app.

1. Data We Process
myArthik is designed as a privacy-first personal finance app.
- Expense data you enter manually
- Optional text/SMS content you choose to parse for transactions
- Optional document and image files you add to the vault
- Optional profile info such as name, email, and selected preferences
2. Where Data Is Stored
- Your app data is primarily stored locally on your device.
- PIN/biometric lock settings are stored securely using platform-secure storage.
- We do not sell your personal financial data.
3. Third-Party Services
myArthik uses limited third-party services for app functionality:
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement and billing state.
- Apple App Store for in-app purchase processing.
- Optional exchange-rate providers when live FX updates are enabled.
These services process data according to their own privacy policies.
4. Permissions
- Camera / Photos: to scan or attach receipts/documents if you choose.
- SMS/Text access (where supported): to parse transaction messages only when enabled.
- Biometric authentication: to unlock the app securely if enabled.
You can disable permissions anytime from device settings.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only where needed to provide core functionality (for example, subscription verification through RevenueCat and app stores).
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Your local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- You can remove entries/documents from inside the app at any time.
7. Children's Privacy
myArthik is not directed to children under 13.
